Dilbert Principle

.. or how sad reality is

We knew this already, but it gets proven over and over again.

Scott Adams
Dilbert Principle
The most ineffective workers are systematically moved to the place where they can do the least damage: management.

For any of you who have and will never make it to become manager there is some comfort in the feeling that you are apparently not an ineffective worker.

  1. In my talks before joining this company I was asked 'Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?'

I aswered 'Pretty much the same place. Not project management or anything' ;)

There's some pride in being a worker bee and not a queen bee. On some days I go home feeling that I've accomplished something. Something other than having managed to stay awake through a 2 hour meeting.

Thanks for you comment. I will probably have to moderate it, so it could take some time to see it appear on the blog, but I am usually quite fast at that.

When I feel that you are commenting just to get some link spam to your own site, you will probably never see it appear ..
